About Me

Hi, my name is Marysa Stevens, and I am an author of contemporary romance. My debut novel, If The Fates Allow, will be published November 2024. I have another story that I am simultaneously querying for traditional publication and preparing for an indie launch.

My Background

After working in corporate public relations and going through major life changes (pandemic, grief, new location, all the fun stuff), I wanted to find true joy and purpose with my skills and talents. I traded in writing about health care to writing about love, laughs and steamy moments.

My Family

I am tremendously grateful for the support of my husband of 11 years, and my daughter, who can’t stop telling everyone her mommy is an author. I’m writing this webpage as my 18-month-old son sits at my feet on the floor of the kitchen, causing absolute mayhem.

Working parents know that getting the job done requires a delicate combination of discipline and compartmentalizing our work from family life. Sometimes I can lock myself in my writing cave, other times it’s done with kiddos asking for a snack or jumping on my lap as I write.
